We topped 1000 miles!!!!!! WOOOHOOO!  How about them apples!  1043 miles to date, one little step at a time.  We have walked half way from NYC to LA!

Just goes to show me, when I finally decide to take action, no matter how daunting it may seem at the time, it's still just piece by piece and all those little actions really do add up.

996 miles.  Funny how the longer we walk, the more it feels like we aren't doing anything.  What else can we do?   How can we excite our community to do more?  What is this world of apathy that we live in?  Global changes are happening all over the globe and yet we sigh and move on.  Perhaps it feels too big?  It's not.  That's the beauty.  It's only a work of art.  It's a very large pointillism project.  Seurat painted one tiny dot at a time.  It didn't look like anything up close but once you backed away, his strategic artistry revealed itself.  A masterpiece was born. How cool would it be to know that WE contributed to the greatest masterpiece of all time!

977 miles!  I am tired!  A heck of a lot of biking and running this week.  I don't even know how it happened except that I had a lot of catch up on the old errands to do this week.  The errands can tend to take the back seat when when it comes to physical transport.  But that's okay.  I feel great about my steps and the work is done.  Time to eat homemade apple pie:)
